HGV Technician – Nights
Location: WS10
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum + Overtime
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: Night Shift
Are you an experienced HGV Technician looking for a well-paid night shift role with a growing commercial vehicle operation?
We are currently recruiting for a skilled HGV Technician to join a busy workshop based in WS10. Working as part of an established team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of HGVs and trailers to the highest standards, ensuring vehicles remain safe, compliant, and operational.
The Role
- Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs and trailers
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults
- Complete vehicle inspections and MOT preparation
- Ensure all work is completed in line with DVSA standards
- Accurately complete job cards and maintenance records
- Work independently and efficiently during night shifts
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Previous experience working on HGVs, LGVs, commercial vehicles, or similar
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
- HGV Licence beneficial but not essential
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
